Cohorts

Deans and Directors of Teaching and Learning 2024-25 Cohort

Door 21 is deeply committed to supporting the success of deans and directors of teaching and learning and related roles that support faculty growth. While these roles have tremendous potential to shape the future of our schools – and schooling, more generally – their positionality to more traditional leadership roles raises distinct questions that have yet to be explored collectively and by individuals currently in the role. In support of these leaders, we have developed a cohort-based professional learning opportunity for the 24-25 academic year.

Our program aims to examine the structures, systems and approaches that allow teaching and learning leaders to realize the fullest potential of their role.

Through a facilitated process of sharing, inquiry, and reflection, participants will convene virtually to explore leadership questions raised by the group, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Creating shared faculty knowledge around T&L

  • Exploring the conditions and systems in which faculty grow

  • Assessing and documenting faculty growth

  • Partnering with DEIB leaders in all aspects of work

  • Generating role-specific knowledge and awareness

Participants will be invited to attend virtual eight cohort meetings throughout the 24-25 academic year and up to four 1-hour individual coaching sessions with Indu Singh.  Cohort size will cap at 9 participants.   If this feels like the right program for you, please contact us at info@door21consulting.com.
